CARC

CARC provides a wide range of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. It serves children up to 3 years old and adults with severe and chronic disabilities. The center s assisted living services include help with contracts and leases, obtaining furniture, home organization, grocery shopping, personal hygiene, cooking, home maintenance, crisis intervention, case management, water therapy assistance and arrangement of transportation. It provides training and services in communication development, money management, social skills development and self management. Its Child Development Center offers short-term and part-time care for children whose parents are attending college classes during the day and specialty programs in basic child development. CARC is an authorized Medicaid waiver services provider, and is located in Carlsbad, N.M.
