I must have tried Big John's on an off day! The brisket was dry and chewy. More like beef jerky. The sauce was good but it was wasted on that meat. Maybe, one day, I'll try them again.

I have eaten here twice.. The ribs are good the brisket was drenched in BBQ sauce which was a little unappealing.. The peach cobbler was the best.. For 14 dollars with a combo and cobbler I think...

He has the best BBQ in town and nice variety of dishes that he offers.. The smell alone will make you want to stop and you will want to just dive in as soon as you get it... Meat just falls apart...
