Aspen Vista Trail, in the fall one of the most beautiful places in the S Fe area. It can be confused w/ Hyde STATE park, not too far away, YET you cannot get here from there! There is a multi-mile trail(starting @ 10k feet) that takes you all the way up to the ski area if you were so inclined. The trail is generously wide, the views are astonishing. You can snowshoe, hike, take pics,use the WC

Come here for a autumn outdoors adventure. The aspens are unforgettable in October. Hike Big Tesuque trail and reach the "highest elevation outhouse in New Mexico" at the peak (12,000 feet). :)...

Just go. If you're visiting in fall, this is a can't miss place. The walking was easy and you got such good views! Again, just go! And look out for the teepees!
