Albuquerque Opportunity Center

The Albuquerque Opportunity Center is owned and operated by Metropolitan Homelessness Project, which is an emergency shelter and services center for homeless men. The center offers a range of resident services, including beds, linens showers, towels and toiletries; free local and long distance telephone; reading and television rooms and discounted bus passes. The Albuquerque Opportunity Center also provides several in-reach services, such as acupuncture, Acu Detox, diabetes and HIV testing and prevention education, hepatitis and flu shots, medical consultations. In addition, it offers job and housing guidance from First Nations, Veteran s Administration, Department of Health and Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless.
