AAS offers Advance Life Support (ALS) paramedic EMT services to the citizens of Albuquerque, the Village of Corrales, and Bernalillo County, as well as mutual aid services for surrounding counties.

Established in 1972, AAS has grown to respond to over 100,000 calls for service annually with a fleet of over 60 ambulances and a dedicated staff of more than 300 paramedics, EMTs, and EMDs.
