William L Dickinson High School

William L. Dickinson High School is a secondary school offering educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. Established in 1904, the high school is a part of the Jersey City Public Schools and has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students. Formerly known as Jersey City High School, it offers various magnet programs that include science research, agriculture and biotechnology, communication and art technology, travel and tourism, applied technology and electronics, culinary arts and information technology. The school s air force junior program features courses in aerospace technology and leadership development. It also provides bilingual services in Spanish and Gujarati. The school has an interactive television studio through which it receives instruction from other high schools and transmits instruction to elementary schools. It has sports teams for baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, football, soccer, swimming, tennis, and track and field. William L. Dickinson High School is located in Jersey City, N.J.
