Wildwood Beach Patrol offers patrolling services for more than one mile of beach area. It employs over 20 lifeguards, who are supported by lieutenant personnel in four wheel drive vehicles. Wildwood Beach Patrol works with police, fire and rescue departments of the city of Wildwood, N.J. Its lifeguards participate in a variety of lifeguarding competitions at the local, regional and national levels. Wildwood Beach Patrol also hosts the Dutch Hoffman Lifeguard Races. Its Junior Lifeguard Program offers educational programs to children on various subjects associated with beaches. Based in Wildwood, N.J., Wildwood Beach Patrol is a member of the South Jersey Lifeguard Chief s Association.

Great patrol, great leadership. These guys are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Highly recommended and keep our bathers safe. The dog beach was a recent addition and is awesome.

I was there for a Jr. lifeguard tournament held at Wildwood . After my daughter hurt herself I asked the lifeguards for an ice pack. None of them had any idea where to find the first aid kit!?...
