Freehold First Aid Squad Freehold First Aid Squad Volunteers Providing Emergency Medical Service since 1941 We are staffed by volunteers, who are your neighbors who live in Freehold Borough and Freehold Township as well. Many have regular full-time jobs and volunteer their time by responding from their homes to help their neighbors in emergencies. We are always looking for fellow residents to join and support our well-respected organization. There are many benefits of joining, ranging from personal pride and enjoyment of saving a neighbors life to some other material things, depending on availability, such as wireless phone discounts, life insurance policies, college tuition discounts, scholarships for EMTs who pursue Paramedic and graduate degrees in health care, FREE EMT training, newsletters, computer discounts, and other Borough sponsored incentive programs. But the number one reason people join - is because they have it in their heart to care about people other than themselves and to help their friends and neighbors in need. Freehold Area residents who would like to volunteer as full time Emergency Medical Technicians. Freehold Area ( or non-residents ) who would like to volunteer as part-time Emergency Medical Technicians. Residents of Freehold Borough and Freehold Township who would like to give their time to assist in the functions of the Freehold Emergency Squad who may not be seeking any first aid training at all, but would just like to help out.

Established in 1946, the Hazlet Township First Aid & Rescue Squad has a long-standing tradition of selfless service, originating from the West Keansburg First Aid Squad. With a commitment to community safety, the squad operates from two buildings and responds to approximately 1,700 calls annually, utilizing a fleet that includes five ambulances and specialized rescue vehicles. The squad is composed of dedicated volunteers who undergo extensive training in first aid and rescue techniques to meet the rising demand for emergency services. Funded primarily through community donations and fundraising efforts, the Hazlet Township First Aid & Rescue Squad continues to serve as a vital resource for the residents of Hazlet Township.
