The Washington Township Historical Society, founded in 1960, is dedicated to preserving the rich history of Washington Township, NJ. Committed to saving historic structures like the 1774 Union Church ruins, the Society has successfully raised funds for multiple stabilization and restoration projects over the years.
Through partnerships and donations, the Society has contributed to the preservation of significant landmarks such as the Obadiah LaTourette Mill and the 1830 Union Schoolhouse.
