I visited Thomasena's for the first time yesterday (March 29th) while back in the area from Florida visiting my family in NJ. In one word: "outstanding". Warm and courteous staff, delicious food...

I give up..... In the last 4 weeks (not even exaggerating) I have called to order Fried flounder, homefries w/peppers and onions and cheese grits. Each time they don't have 1 or 2 of the three....

So Thomasena has been open for several years but just found out about it and it's less than a 5 minute walk away from work. Nice interior and plenty of tables to eat at. Wish I knew about it...

I LOVE the turkey wings, mac and cheese, and collard greens. Not a fan of their fried chicken though. Watch it! The turkey wings/mac and cheese can be addictive!
