The best local bar. Great crowd always. Food is remarkably good. They know how to cook here. I'm dead serious. Steak sandwich. Steak. So good!

Established in 1953, Sportsman's has been a beloved community corner bar in Mt. Sterling for more than six decades, offering patrons a welcoming atmosphere and great prices. Under the ownership of Nicole and Tim Wachter since 2015, the bar is deeply engaged in local charitable efforts and community events, including music fundraisers and outdoor activities.
In addition to its status as a neighborhood favorite, Sportsman's launched the Hop Garden in 2019, providing a seasonal outdoor venue outfitted with a covered stage, a bar for frozen drinks, and spacious seating. This expansion reflects the establishment's commitment to enhancing the local experience while serving as a vibrant hub for social gatherings and entertainment.

Great place to come to eat, drink, and watch games. There are TVs all over the place and at any time there are 10 or more different games on. The food is always on point. Great local crowd.
