Welcome to The Country Home Individualized care for those with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. We are not an Institution. We are a home with a capacity for only 38 residents, The Country Home is small enough to ensure individualized Alzheimer's care, 24/7, but large enough to offer your loved one a variety of senior companions. We truly offer a family environment, and our management team has over 54 years collective experience! Our staff turnover is low which means continuity of care and familiarity with all residents. This enables us to promptly spot any changes and alert family and medical professionals. Our Directors actually live on the property, and our Owners live in a private residence less than 50 yards away. This means they can provide expert back-up assistance to on-duty staff 24/7 in an emergency. Other Alzheimer's homes have managers and RN's that float among several corporate facilities, many miles apart. Our location is ideal for Seniors in a quiet residential neighborhood, but is easily accessible from all major highways. We are only five minutes to the nearest hospital, St. Clare's in Denville, and only 30 minutes from the largest hospital in New Jersey, Hackensack University Medical Center. Other hospitals, acute and sub-acute rehabilitation centers are also nearby. Visitors enjoy taking our residents to nearby restaurants, shops, churches, synagogues and parks. The Country Home's beautiful gardens, walking paths and grounds are surrounded by attractive fencing with locked gates. All doors and windows in our safe Alzheimer's facility are secure. Residents never go outside without supervision and staff know the location of our residents at all times. Some of our residents have come to the Country Home after bad experiences with wandering at larger Alzheimer's homes. Licensed & Monitored by the State The Country Home for Seniors is licensed by the NJ Department of Community Affairs. Like the local authorities, the State regularly inspects The Country Home for safety and other regulatory compliance.
