Tacos Mexico & Variedades, founded by Antonio Moreno in 1975, began as a successful catering truck in Los Angeles serving authentic Mexican tacos made with fresh, family recipes. The popularity of the truck led to the opening of a brick-and-mortar restaurant in 1977, which has since expanded to nearly 100 locations across southern California, Nevada, and Arizona.
Keeping true to its origins, Tacos Mexico serves a diverse clientele with a menu that includes tacos, tortas, sopes, and more, all made from hand-seasoned meats and scratch-made sauces. Despite the passing of its founder in 2009, the restaurant continues to uphold Moreno's commitment to fresh and authentic Mexican cuisine.
