Sussex Meat Packing is a family-owned and operated neighborhood market that has been proudly serving Sussex County since 1960. With roots in farming and butchering, they offer the freshest quality meats at bargain prices, while also providing slaughtering and wholesale services for local farmers and hunters.
Started by Andrew VandenAkker and now run by his son Henry, Sussex Meat Packing began as a small shop in Wantage, NJ, and has since expanded to multiple locations. Love this place. They have great meat and unusual ones. Different kinds of pasta and a great deli. The only problem is some of the staff are very unfriendly.

I needed a brisket for a dinner party. I went ShopRite in Franklin. The butcher would barely acknowledge I spoke to him. No brisket. I called Sparta Stop and Stop, they wouldn't answer the phone....
