Susan Begic, MSN, NP-C is a member of Summit Health's Family Medicine team. Ms. Begic is a family nurse practitioner with years of experience in emergency settings, including a traumatic brain injury unit. She currently sees patients for preventive care as well as for common illness, injuries, infections, disease exposure, and more.Ms. Begic has a background in primary care as well as urgent care and retail clinics. As part of Summit Healths Family Medicine team, she looks forward to establishing continuity of care with patients to help them properly manage a range of medical issues, including hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic and acute conditions.Ms. Begic always had a strong interest in health care and teaching. She says, As a nurse practitioner, I not only have an opportunity to optimize the health and well-being of my patients, but I get to play the role of an educator, mentor, and healer, which is rewarding and deeply fulfilling.Ms. Begic has a degree in exercise science. She is certified in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and speaks both English and Polish.Outside of the office, Ms. Begic enjoys traveling, exercising, exploring the outdoors, cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
