Elizabeth L. Ramos-Genuino, MD, specializes in family medicine.Dr. Ramos-Genuino has practiced with the Family Health Center of Montclair since 2002. She also has practiced with Reflections of Livingston, New Jersey, and Alexandria Health Care Center in Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Ramos-Genuino has been a clinical instructor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.Dr. Ramos-Genuino's interest in medicine began when she volunteered at hospitals during high school and college. She says, "I enjoy the intellectual challenges of medicine and it is gratifying to help people overcome illnesses and maintain their health. To help patients achieve their health goals, I listen carefully to their concerns so that I can understand their issues and create achievable treatment plans whenever possible."To her credit, Dr. Ramos-Genuino has been a volunteer preceptor for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey free clinic in Newark.When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Ramos-Genuino enjoys spending time with her family. She says, "My husband and I enjoy exploring new places and learning about different cultures, architecture, foods, and history. We especially enjoy sharing our passion for discovering new places with our daughter."

Lauren Rosenblum, DO is a member of Summit Health's Family Medicine team. Dr. Rosenblum focuses on preventive care in children, adolescents, and adults as well as routine well womens care inclusive of pap smears and pelvic exams. I take a very patient-centered approach, realizing that each patient may require different treatment methods, says Dr. Rosenblum. She also encourages patients to be active participants in their health care. When they fully understand the importance of disease prevention and involve themselves in their treatment plans, they are able to live their healthiest lives, she says.Dr. Rosenblum received a Bachelor of Science from Brandeis University in Massachusetts and a Master of Science in biology from New York University (NYU). While studying at NYU, she completed research in toxicology, examining the impact of environmental agents on the immune system and human health. Her findings prompted her to enter the medical field where she could focus on disease prevention and help people live healthy lives, and in 2016, she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University, School of Osteopathic Medicine.Dr. Rosenblum is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Medical Association.When not caring for patients, Dr. Rosenblum enjoys travel, photography, hiking, outdoor activities, cooking, and taking cooking classes to learn about different types of cuisine.
