Stephen A. Chagares, MD, FACS, is a board certified general surgeon who specializes in laparoscopic, robotic and breast surgery. He graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1986 and obtained his medical doctor degree in 1990 from Rutgers Medical School. Dr. Chagares performs a variety of breast procedures, including lumpectomy and mastectomy. In addition to breast surgery, Dr. Chagares regularly performs hernia repairs of all types, as well as a full range of general surgery procedures.

Dr. Michael Rose, Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, is an expert in reconstruction following cancer surgery or deforming accidents. Dr. Rose is specially trained in the most modern and safe techniques for cosmetic procedures such as facelifts, cheek-lifts, eye tucks, and brow lifts. He also specializes in breast augmentation, reduction, and lifting, as well as tummy tucks, thigh, arm, buttock lifting, and liposuction. Dr. Rose also has a special interest in body contouring after massive weight loss surgery. Dr. Rose received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. He then completed a five-year general surgery residency at New York University Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital, where he was selected as executive chief resident and won the award for Best Surgical Educator for that year. During his residency, he did a one-year fellowship in the plastic surgery laboratories at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Rose completed his training with a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. While at Emory, he published research on the safety of cosmetic surgery. In addition to research and publications, he presented at national and international meetings and received a national award for his research.

Chris Lakhiani, MD

Dr. Lakhiani received his undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary and went on to attend medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in his native state of New Jersey. There, he was awarded the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha research scholarship to investigate novel anti-inflammatory agents at the University of Sydney. He continued to pursue further scientific advancement later in medical school with a dedicated year of research in plastic surgery techniques and tissue imaging at the renowned University of Texas Southwestern Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lakhiani was chosen to attend the internationally recognized integrated Plastic Surgery Residency program at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, in Washington, DC. At Georgetown, he learned from international leaders in extremity reconstruction, lymphedema, and hand, trunk, and breast reconstruction. During his time in DC, he also spent additional time at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore learning from leaders in the field of hand surgery. Following this, he was accepted to the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, the top microsurgery training fellowship in the world, for his fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery and peripheral nerve surgery. Dr. Lakhiani learned from founders in the fields of head and neck reconstruction, lymphedema, toe transfer, facial paralysis, and brachial plexus reconstruction. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
