St Andrews Cemetery
St. Andrew Cemetery, located behind St. Andrew Memorial Church in South Bound Brook, New Jersey, serves as a final resting place for the hierarchs, clergy, and notable figures of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA. Established on the historic Heinrich Fisher estate, the cemetery reflects over sixty years of dedication to preserving the memory of the Ukrainian community and its contributions to society.
The cemetery was envisioned by Bishop Mstyslav in 1942, inspired by the devastation of Ukrainian cemeteries during his travels. Following the acquisition of the estate in 1951, the church council approved the establishment of the cemetery, which has since become a significant site for honoring the deceased and maintaining cultural heritage.
