Somerset Hills Montessori School

The Somerset Hills Montessori School is located in the beautiful, historic town of Basking Ridge, New Jersey (less than 1 mile from 287 exit 30A). You will immediately feel at home in our 100 plus year house. We provide a warm and loving environment for your child to grow & learn. In addition to following the Montessori curriculum, we also offer the extracurricular programs of music, computer and tumbling. The school serves children from 18 months to 7 years old with an accredited Kindergarten. Our academic year runs September thru June and Summer Camp continues until offer programs starting with as little as 3 mornings all the way up to 5 full days. We are also able to customize a schedule to meet your personal needs. Our programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of each child and help them develop at their own pace. Each builds on the previous which provides challenges to the child based on both their age and skill level. We offer programs for Toddlers and Primary Age children. Students can also take advantage of computer and tumbling lessons. Summer Programs Our regular school year runs from September to June, with a summer camp open to our enrolled students. Our fun filled days include many exciting and creative activities such as swimming at the Basking Ridge Country Club. the middle of August. One basic idea of the Montessori Philosophy is that carried, unseen within each child is the person the child will become. To develop to the fullest physical, spiritual and intellectual potential, the child must have freedom - achieved through order and self-discipline.
