A native of Basking Ridge, Dr. Alexander Christou is a board certified family physician who has been in private practice since 2007 with offices in both Morristown and Bernardsville.He is a 2004 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (Philadelphia, PA) and, he completed his internship and a residency in Family Practice at Somerset Medical Center (Somerville, NJ) in 2007. Prior to attending medical school, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Villanova University (Villanova, PA) in 1993. He is also a former research assistant with MCP/Hahnemann University and the Wistar Institute (Philadelphia, PA), where he focused on tumor immunology and cancer vaccine development, and co-authored articles in peer-reviewed medical journals.Dr. Christou is an affiliate of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the NJ Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
