Additionally, Dr. Di Stefano has expertise in sports medicine as related to sports injuries, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, sprains and lateral ankle instability.Prior to joining Summit Health in 2015, Dr. Di Stefano practiced with Foot and Ankle Care Associates, LLC for 14 years.Dr. Di Stefano is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. Dr. Di Stefano is proud to have volunteered as a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon for the New Jersey chapter of Healing the Children, a medical mission in Guatemala. He has also previously volunteered as a member of the podiatry support teams for the Boston Marathon, Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C. and the Philadelphia Distance Run.Dr. Di Stefano is a recipient of the Drexel University Community Service Award for his volunteer work in area hospitals.
