History

Redd's owners Doug Palsi, Dan Palsi and Frank Pinto have been friends since grammar school and, combined, have more than 75 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Doug, Dan and Frank have experienced success by offering their customers great food, beer and customer service over the past few years. They have been in search of another location to expand on the popularity of Redd's in the Meadowlands and Newark. Doug, Dan and Frank clearly view New Brunswick; which is named after a German town called Braunschweig as a community that would appreciate the culture and atmosphere their German Biergarten would provide. The three life-long friends felt their Biergarten would complement not only the community of New Brunswick but would cater to Rutgers University's fan base and student population along with many of the well-recognized companies & healthcare organizations in the area.
