Herold Appraisal Group is the product of the growing requirements of the legal community, construction and development industry, and the commercial lending requirements of major banks. The firm started in Bogota N.J. after World War II and moved to our present Hackensack office in 1963. Our activity was limited to Bergen County in the early years but expanded to the entire State of New Jersey and southern New York State when we developed expertise in the area of land and site evaluation. The company is currently administered by second and third generation family members. Our growth patterns permitted us to develop expertise in many difference areas of Real Estate evaluations.
