Andre Ross, DPM, AACFAS, specializes in podiatry, with a focus on reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Ross has extensive experience with foot and ankle trauma, deformity correction including flatfoot/cavus (high arch) reconstruction and arthritis of the foot and ankle. He holds multiple certifications in total ankle replacement surgery. He treats a variety of sports-related injuries including Achilles tendon ruptures, ankle ligament injuries, and osteochondral lesions utilizing minimally invasive techniques such as arthroscopy and tendoscopy. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Microsurgical Orthoplastic Society.Albert Einstein said, Intellectual growth commences at birth and ceases only in death, a mantra which Dr. Ross believes holds true, especially in medicine. He continually immerses himself in the academic setting being involved in the education of multiple residency programs and lecturing at conferences annually. He strives to continually advance surgical principles and technologies through research and publications.Dr. Ross believes that cultivating a trusting patient-doctor relationship is of utmost importance. I strive to earn my patients trust during our time together by showing them that they are not facing this health challenge alone and that we are a team who will not rest until health and vitality are restored.When he is not working with patients, Dr. Ross enjoys playing guitar, painting, cooking, tennis, snowboarding, basketball, hiking and fishing.

Shail N. Patel, DPM, FACFAS, specializes in a wide range of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Patels expertise includes reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle involving all deformities and pathology (bunions, Hammertoes, neuromas, heel pain, flatfoot deformity, soft tissue masses/tumors and pes cavus deformity),foot and ankle arthroscopy, trauma injuries(including ankle fractures, foot fractures and tendon tears of the foot and ankle), external fixation, sports-related injuries and treatment, pediatric deformities and injury, and diabetic wound care and limb salvage.Dr. Patel has practiced with Summit Health/Foot and Ankle Care Associates since 2005. He previously had a role as a Fellowship Director of the Foot and Ankle Care Associates Reconstructive Fellowship Program.Dr. Patel is the co-author of book chapters, presentations and research on wound healing and ankle fracture protocol and management. Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Association.When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling with his family and playing soccer and tennis.
