The fam was looking to take advantage of this beautiful fall weather that we have been having. I recalled doing this hike a number of years ago and enjoyed it, so decided to give it another try....

The Cooper Gristmill, located in Chester Township, New Jersey, is a historically significant water-powered flourmill built in 1826 by Nathan Cooper. As the only restored water-powered mill in the state, it serves as a living showcase of New Jersey's industrial history, demonstrating the state's transition from agriculture to industry.
This unique site features guided tours led by costumed staff, who operate restored machinery to illustrate the traditional grain grinding process. Additionally, visitors can explore a history exhibition at the Visitors Center and enjoy scenic hiking trails connecting to the surrounding preserved parkland along the Black River.

Since they've changed trail blaze, it's not as good as it was. Everything is a blue trail. And not as fun /challenging as it used to be where you can do all combos to make it a good hike....
