Founded in 1978, Pathways to Independence is a private nonprofit organization that provides a variety of prevocational and vocational training opportunities to adults affected with disabilities, throughout the state of New Jersey. It administers various adult training, employment, and arts and crafts programs. The organization offers community awareness, personal care and appearance, home maintenance, habilitation, and socialization and communication skills services through its adult training program. Pathways to Independence also provides community resources, counseling, supported employment, job skills assistance and work-related training services. Additionally, it offers skill development services for blind and visually impaired individuals. Pathways to Independence is located in Kearny, N.J.

The place lacks of empathy and professionalism, starting with the higher-ups Tessa Farrell-McPhoy. She can't keep her posture and let's her emotion take the best of herself, showing verbal abuse...

Would not recommend any family to enroll their family member here. This place smells like urine and disinfectant. Their staff is underpaid so the services are crap. It looks like an insane asylum...
