Founded in 1934, Paper Mill is a nonprofit professional theater. It is supported in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State and the National Endowment for the Arts. It is also a member of the Theatre Communications Group, National Alliance for Music Theatre, Council of Stock Theatres and the New Jersey Theatre Alliance. The theatre s art gallery features local, national and international exhibits. Located in Millburn, N.J., the theater also has a gift shop that offers tote bags, apparel, travel mugs and baseball hats. Additionally, the theater features educative programs for kids. Its summer musical conservatory offers training programs for young performers. Paper Mill also operates a more than 49,000-square-foot scene shop that constructs and fabricates stage and properties for the theater. Its scene shop also rent out the properties to other entertainment organizations.
