Nadia Jamil, APN is a member of Summit Health's Primary Care at Home team. With a masters degree in Family Practice, Ms. Jamil is trained to provide care across the lifespan but has special focus in geriatric medicine. I believe the key to good health is using advancements in technology, evidence-based practices, and incorporating a mind/body philosophy to collectively accomplish patient goals.Ms. Jamil holds a bachelors degree in Art and worked as a graphic designer for close to three years before deciding to make the move to health care. Higher education was very important to my dad, and he was the one who encouraged me to continue my education. At the same time, my mom was caring for my grandmother who was on Hospice which further inspired me to enter the field of medicine a path that has been extremely rewarding personally and professionally.Ms. Jamil loves meeting new people, helping those in need, and facing new challenges every day. When not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking, painting, visiting museums, traveling, spending time with family, friends and her animals, and volunteering.

Fahad Khateeb, MD is a member of Summit Health's Hospitalist Medicine team. As an internal medicine hospitalist, Dr. Khateeb treats and coordinates care for adult patients who require hospital admission. Trained in family medicine, he has experience in various patient care settings including behavioral health, skilled nursing, and long-term acute care facilities, as well as telemedicine.Dr. Khateeb takes pride in creating healthy doctor-patient relationships built on empathy, transparency, compassion, and an emphasis on patient safety. His approach to care recognizes each patients unique needs, honors the diversity of personal identities and backgrounds, and encourages patient involvement in decisions regarding their care. I always remember that each patient is an individual, a member of a family, and a member of a larger community, he says.In addition to treating patients, Dr. Khateeb finds reward in team-based care. Thats part of what drew me to hospital medicineI really enjoy working with medical students, residents, subspecialists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and case managers, he says. He adds that his colleagues various perspectives create opportunity for continuous learning and enhanced patient care.Having grown up in a medically underserved community, Dr. Khateeb pursued a health care career to make a difference in others lives. That work has extended to volunteerism serving underprivileged patient populations.In his free time, Dr. Khateeb also enjoys reading, playing musical instruments, and traveling.
