The Mount Holly Municipal Utilities Authority (MHMUA) is responsible for the operation and maintenance of 42 pumping stations across six townships, including Mount Holly and Hainesport. Serving approximately 17,000 residential and 600 commercial customers, MHMUA manages over 175 miles of wastewater collection infrastructure, ensuring effective wastewater treatment and resource recovery.
MHMUA operates two wastewater treatment facilities—Rancocas Road and Maple Avenue—designed for secondary and tertiary treatment processes. The authority also engages in the Hauled Wastes Program, processing various liquid wastes and converting biosolids into compost at the Burlington County Resource Recovery Facility.
