A graduate of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and is board certified in both internal medicine and addiction medicine. He is actively involved in the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and the American College of Academic Addiction Medicine. Located near Philadelphia in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, our facility offers medical detox, inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services for comprehensive addiction treatment. Dr. Schmidt ensures same-day admissions and accepts most major insurance providers, including Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United, and Veteran Administration Plans.

Dr. Savitha Racha offers compassionate care at The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper Drug and Alcohol Rehab in New Jersey. She specializes in internal and Addiction Medicine across levels of care, including medical detox, inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient service. graduating from Boston University School of Medicine, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency Program at Cooper University Hospital and Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She welcomes patients on their journey to recovery. Dr. Christina Ferrari, MD, is the Associate Medical Director and Addiction Medicine Physician at The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper Drug and Alcohol Rehab in New Jersey, near Philadelphia. A graduate of Drexel College of Medicine, Dr. Ferrari completed her Family Medicine Residency training at UPMC St. Margaret and brings years of experience to our facility. She is an Instructor of Family Medicine at Cooper University and dual board-certified in Addiction Medicine and Family Medicine. The facility offers medical detox, inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services.
