History

We are a family owned and operated business established in 1962. After a fire burnt down our store at its original location at 9th and Arch Streets in Philadelphia, and on the urging of his brother Danny Meritz , ( an established merchant at the Berlin Farmers Market), my father, Nathan, packed up suitcases of what he could salvage, and headed to Berlin, New Jersey. And the rest is history.... Through the years our store grew from a card table on the aisle to what you see today.Customers can shop in a clean, pleasant and well lit store. We showcase gold, silver, and fine diamond jewelry, as well as a large selection of unique Vintage and Estate jewelry. We are a retailer of Citizen, Pulsar, Seiko, and Kenneth Cole watches, with an array of vintage pocket and wrist watches.
