Mamta Gill, PA-C is a member of Summit Healths Urgent Care Center team. Ms. Gill has eight years of experience working in an emergency room observation area, where she witnessed a vast array of injuries, illnesses, and diagnoses. She is trained to treat a variety of trauma and injury cases.Ms. Gill states, Growing up, my parents instilled in me that service to society and helping others should be a major focus in life. I knew choosing a career where I could do this every day would keep me fulfilled.Ms. Gill is passionate about improving health and preventing illness through nutrition and lifestyle changes. Outside of emergency medicine, she enjoys spending time with her children and creating new at-home learning projects for them. She also enjoys yoga, dancing, and reading.

Joseph Nachef, PA-C is a member of Summit Healths Urgent Care team. Mr. Nachef joined Summit Health based on their strong patient-first commitment. The mantra of patient centered medicine is how I was trained. Finding a group that practiced in that same manner was important to me. Every patient deserves focused attention on their needs and concerns, says Mr. Nachef.Before joining Summit Health, Mr. Nachef worked in a primary care setting in Essex County caring for a variety of patients with both chronic and acute conditions. In addition to his PA degree in medicine, he holds another advanced degree in molecular biology and uses his diverse training to help promote the health goals of his patients. This diversified background inspires him to research the most practical options for each individual and to think outside of the box when considering solutions and potential treatments. Mr. Nachef is also motivated to spend time educating his patients during visits to empower them to make the best possible medical decisions.He is also a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants.When hes not practicing, Mr. Nachef enjoys promoting the PA profession and the sciences by teaching at local universities and mentoring future PAs. He enjoys cooking, cycling, working out, traveling, listening to podcasts, and spending quality time with his family.

Dr. Schmid specializes in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring procedures such as abdominoplasty and liposuction, head, neck, and skin cancer reconstruction, and hand surgery. He also has expertise in surgical and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation, including facelift, eyelid lift, necklift, soft-tissue filler, Botox Cosmetic, and laser skin treatments. Dr. Schmids leading-edge training in microsurgery makes it possible for him to offer patients the latest, most effective procedures for breast reconstruction, including autologous tissue flap reconstruction techniques (DIEP, SIEA, TRAM, and TUG) and implant-based reconstruction.Dr. Schmid is adept at achieving natural, beautiful results for his patients. He listens carefully to each patients goals and concerns to develop a plan that maximizes his expertise and addresses his patients desires.Dr. Schmid is the author or coauthor of articles about plastic and reconstructive surgery, which are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, and Current Orthopedic Practice. A gifted speaker, he has participated in local, regional, national, and international invited presentations in his field. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Wisconsin Medical Society, Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Lambda Anthropology Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.To his credit, Dr. Schmid has been a volunteer surgeon for NICAPLAST, a volunteer plastic surgery mission for children in Nicaragua. He also has volunteered for St. Martin House and Habitat for Humanity in Madison, Wisconsin, the National Youth Leadership Forum in Chicago, and Project HOME in Philadelphia.When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Schmid enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, cycling, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and traveling. A percussionist and pianist, he also enjoys making and listening to music.
