HistoryOur firm was founded in Franklin, New Jersey in 1980 and has since relocated to Wantage, New Jersey. Jim Coleman and Karen Plaza, a father and daughter team began this firm in the rear of their family run ice cream store. Jim, a High School business teacher and Karen, while still in college, began with the preparation of simple tax returns and small business accounts, since growing to a full service Tax and Accounting firm. Our purpose in starting this firm was to fill the growing need for a superior level of accounting and tax preparation services with personal attention to detail while also maintaining a competitive fee structure, which is still our purpose today. In 1990, Jim retired to sunny South Carolina and left Karen to run the family business. Karen Plaza is currently involved in her community. She has acted as a past trustee to the Children's Chorus of Sussex County, past president and treasurer of Sussex Wantage PTO, and past treasurer to both the Friends of the Sussex WaSpecialtiesTax Preparation for Individuals and Small Businesses
