On our random visit, entrances to the Lambert Castle and Tower were closed, but the road was open. We were able to admire this lovely structure from outside. Our intention anyway was to go hiking....

this place is a hidden gem in a city. You would never expect a nature walk in Paterson, let alone with history. Great WW2 history for these two buildings that look beautiful with easy trails to hike
