Kochi
History
KOCHI is a naturally protected historic spice port that traded spices with the ancient Greeks, Romans, Phoenicians, and the rest of the world going back over 2500 years. We have been bringing you the cuisine from this part of Southwestern India since 2013. KOCHI cuisine has been greatly influenced by its strategic location on the ancient land and oceanic spice routes as well as the cultures of multitude of traders that has visited it over the centuries. Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, and Jewish settlements around Kochi have certainly had a great impact on our cuisine.
