HistoryRaymond Silva, PT Raymond Silva has been a physical therapist for over 15 years. He first became interested in physical therapy in high school when his grandmother's sister suffered a stroke. Her everyday function was a struggle. When she began receiving treatment from three PT students working as clinical interns, Raymond watched them as they tried to improve her physical condition and made sure she was comfortable with any treatment they did. The therapists were able to have her walking with a walker (having standby assistance), after she was unable to stand. Following, he thought this is something he could see himself doing, as how could there be a better profession than this: providing a service to people and improving their function/lives after sustaining injury or having a condition that caused changes, which led to a decline in a person's physical ability to function, may it be secondary to pain, limitation of motion, or weakness.SpecialtiesRestore Performance Physical Therapy is not just a physical therapy office.
