JoyDew is a day program for adults with autism that presumes competence, focuses on strengths and provides job training, social life and employment.JoyDew increases the independence, happiness and quality of life for adults on all parts of the spectrum and their families by identifying and developing their unique gifts and leveraging them in high-value employment. The Viscardi Center, located in Albertson, NY, is a leading organization committed to providing a comprehensive range of programs and services aimed at educating, employing, and empowering children and adults with disabilities. With a focus on fostering inclusivity and equitable opportunities, the Center serves over 70 million Americans with disabilities through initiatives such as tailored educational programs and workforce training services. In addition to its educational offerings, the Viscardi Center is set to enhance the understanding of disability culture and history with the upcoming Museum of Disability History, which will be housed within the Kornreich Institute for Disabilities Studies.
