Joann's School of Dance (JSD), established in 1985 by Director Joann Schoenig, has been a cornerstone of the Elizabeth, NJ community, nurturing hundreds of students with a commitment to excellence in dance education. With a focus on instilling personal confidence, self-esteem, and technique, JSD offers a range of classes suitable for both recreational dancers and those pursuing a more serious path.
The studio hosts an annual recital in June, along with local performances and workshops featuring renowned choreographers. JSD's Star Company Competition Team recently showcased their talent at nationals, earning over 50 awards, and continues to celebrate the joy of dance in its 40th season.
