Jenkinson s South Family Center is part of Jenkinson s Boardwalk, a beach and amusement park on the New Jersey shore in Point Pleasant. The boardwalk area is popular with summer vacationers for the beachfront and attractions, among them rides and a roller coaster, an aquarium, candy store, nightclub and dining. The activities are designed for couples and families. Every Monday night Jenkinson s holds children's shows with magicians, clowns and circus artists. For adults Jenkinson s has the Festival of the Atlantic Concerts held on the beach with artists from the opera, big bands and the New York stage. Jenkinson s Candy Store features summer favorites such as carmel apples and fudge dipped candy apples. The pavilion offers a lavish food court and an oceanside full service dining room, with full service bars, raw bar and sushi bar. The family center is open daily from May through October, and weekends from November through April.

I come to Jenkinson's once a year if only to remind me to stay away the other 364 days. What's not to love.... crowds, lousy food, ridiculous parking and pricing that would make your neighborhood...
