History
The founder Leslie of I'm So Yoga first discovered yoga in Newark, NJ at the local YMCA. She was inspired by the class to open a studio to spread the amazing gift of yoga. We first opened I'm So Yoga in 2014 a different area of Newark, NJ. Sadly we were only open for three months. Determined to spread the joy of yoga Leslie then taught free classes in local parks and art galleries. In 2017 she was presented her current space and it was destiny. She worked really hard to acquire the space and when she did there were many upgrades needed in the space. With the help of donations from people in and outside of the community Leslie gathered enough funds to purchase supplies to restore the space. Now our new studio has been opened since October 2017 and were here to stay.
