Hygeia Mama is the maternal/infant division of Hygeia Public Health, owned by Dr. Jill Chasse, a Clinical Health Educator and Certified Functional Medicine & Trauma Specialist. Over 25 Years of Experience Dr. Jill started her career in maternal health in the early 90's while volunteering in labor and delivery at Mountainside Hospital and working with mothers at local La Leche League meetings. After earning post doctoral education and working for over a decade in maternal health, Dr. Chasse branched into public health, global health and humanitarian medicine. With her expanded focus on public health education and outreach, she transformed Magic of Motherhood into Hygeia Public Health and eventually was able to branch off Hygeia Mama for a specific focus on the perinatal period.
