The House of Chong first opened in 1969. The first location was in Brick, NJ with the second location coming to Middletown, NJ in the Village Mall. In 1991 we moved down Rt. 35 to the current location in Union Square. The restaurant has been in the Chong family for 3 generations.

Best Chinese food I've had. Hands down. Food was delicious with no bloated feeling from MSG. A 30 minute ride for me, but well worth the trip. This is my new go to for Chinese. I can't wait to go...

If I could leave zero stars I would. No one in the restaurant on a Sunday at 5 pm. Waiter took rhe wrong order and when brought it out claimed we gave him a number and not the name of the food....
