Hillside Police Department

The Hillside Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that protects residents lives and their property and safeguards individual rights and community values. Located in Hillside, N.J., it conducts several educational programs and awareness seminars regarding crime prevention, Internet security, neighborhood watch and personal safety. The police department provides services for criminal history checks, fingerprinting, taxi and alcohol permits, crime investigation and accident reporting. The Hillside Police Department also has an honor guard that marches in parades, conducts funerals for officers and their family members, and attends wakes and funerals for area officers killed in the line of duty.
