First Atlantic Federal Credit Union

History

First Atlantic was established in 1935 as the credit union for Fort Monmouth civilian employees. The credit union expanded to all employees of Fort Monmouth in 1957 becoming Fort Monmouth Federal Credit Union. In 1986, the credit union expanded again to included specific other businesses' employees and became First Atlantic Federal Credit Union. In 2002, the credit union changed to a community charter and can now provide financial services to anyone in Monmouth or Ocean counties.

Financial services provider offering a variety of loans included auto, home and personal loans and deposit accounts like savings and checking. Other services are provided as well such as a mobile app and mobile deposit, online banking and bill pay.
