Applegate Farm, located fifteen minutes west of New York City, has been a cherished destination for families in Northern New Jersey since 1848, offering fresh dairy products and a nostalgic farm atmosphere. The farm features historical landmarks, including the original farmhouse that played a role in the Civil War and an authentic tile silo built in 1919.

Initially owned by the Sigler family, the farm transitioned to Julian Tinkham in the late 1800s, who preserved its charm and atmosphere. Under the leadership of Frank Oliver in the 1920s, Applegate Farm expanded its offerings, perfecting the first ice cream cone and introducing new flavors that contributed to its enduring popularity.
