Diocese of Metuchen

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen, located in Piscataway, N.J., and established in 1937, is a Catholic religious organization that offers worship and community-based services. It serves Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren counties in New Jersey. The diocese has a staff of bishops and priests from other religious communities and serves more than 600,000 Catholics. It offers Sunday Mass prayers and confession services and organizes religious sacraments. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen also operates cemeteries that serve as parish burial grounds and various mausoleums that offer peaceful prayers. It also organizes funeral processions.
