DAVID COOPER, LCSW

My name is David Cooper. I am a Person of Color and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Georgian Court University and my Master of Social Work from Fordham University. I have 25+ years of mental health experience that includes the coordination of care with service providers in the surrounding communities. My clinical focus is centered on working with at-risk male youths, and adults with co-occurring (mental health and addiction) disorders. I have worked in various settings: inpatient, outpatient, and institutions. My goal in working with clients is to develop a safe, judgment-free, therapeutic relationship that fosters self-discovery and a belief that everyone has value and a purpose.
