Located in Camden, N.J., Cooper B. Hatch Middle School offers classes from grades six through eight in subjects, such as social science, physical education, arts, foreign languages, music, technology and mathematics. The school s facility consists of more than 30 classrooms, gymnasium, media center, cafeteria and a basketball floor. It also consists of an auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 1,200 people. The school operates a compass learning program that works with educators and parents to improve the academic achievement and performance of all students. It also operates a program that helps teachers in integrating technology into instruction and enhance student learning. The school administration encourages participation in activities, including clubs, societies, alumni association and sports. Additionally, the Cooper B. Hatch Middle School operates an advanced technology project that offers opportunities to identify, adapt and implement the uses of technology to improve teaching and learning.
