History
Coastline Adventures Surfing School was created because Lance Tompkins wanted to share his love of surfing with others in a safe environment with easy-to-learn methods. Jennifer Steffener joined the team in 2008 and helped to expand their offerings to include women's and girls' surf programs as well as stand up paddleboarding and surf/SUP training classes. The school is accredited by the National Surf School and Instructor Association, as well as being CPR, AED, and First Aid Certified.

With 27 years of teaching experience, we have a well-earned reputation for being supportive, friendly and professional with highly effective teaching methods for all ages and abilities. Services include: * Surfing (private or semi-private lessons, kids' adventure camps, co-ed adult and women's camps). * Bodyboarding (kids' adventure camps). * Stand Up Paddleboarding - (kids' adventure camps, Eco Tours, private and semi-private lessons). Equipment Rentals are available for all sports.

My daughter and I were total amateurs when we took our private surf lesson. It took a few weeks of checking the ocean but Lance picked the PERFECT day for us newbies. What a GREAT experience!...

The guys were really nice and helpful. We didn't take a lesson, but they showed us where to go and the local rules for the beach. We are beginners and the 9 foot board was perfect.
