Richard Levine, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and surgeon, and Medical Director of the Cliffside Laser Eye and Cataract Center in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. Since graduating with highest academic honors as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, he received his medical education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and ophthalmology training at the University of Pennsylvania Eye Institute. Dr. Levine has been in private practice for 25 years and has been recognized as an expert and innovator in cataract surgery. He was among the first doctors in the New York area to perform refractive cataract surgery and the multifocal lens implant procedure, one of the first in the nation to perform 'MIGS" (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery), and is one of the New York area's most experienced LASIK specialists.He's established the Cliffside Laser Eye and Cataract Center to provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical therapy for correcting vision, in a friendly, inviting, patient-centric practice.
